Attended Nottingham Buddhist Society(NBS)'s 2nd Annual Camp - You-Turn, last Friday, Saturday & Sunday. It was held at Samadhi Vihara, Shah Alam.(relatively new temple, part of it still under construction) Had fun being part of the committees. Tiring but worth it(although i didn't do most of the work) Learnt more about the Dhamma Learnt more about people's behaviors Learnt to speak better with other people The camp wouldn't have happened without the committees' hard work and dedication, i thank you all for making this a success. I noticed there were some unhappy committees due to some miscommunications, but this is part of life, part of the learning curve. Like how Sze Wei(founder of the society) said, "this will be a platform for you to perform, to learn and conduct mistakes..."  EINSTEIN 08/08/1999 - 15/02/2012 I knew this day would come. I started taking pictures a while back.  You have been a faithful companion, a good friend and a good pet. Although there are times where i feel mad at you for biting my basketball shoes, or crapping behind the car, or chewing my socks and then hiding them in your cage, now i won't be able to anymore... I wont get to take you out for walks in the evening I wont get to stroke your fur anymore I wont get to "paw-shake" you anymore Right now, wherever you are, you are free, you can run and go anywhere you like, your hind-legs wont hurt anymore, you are free... The last time we played frisbee at the field, together with my bro May you rest in peace and be reborn in a higher state. You will always be in our heart, dear Einstein. We miss you.

Played paintball with a bunch of friends last week at Summit. Wai Hong bought us 10 tickets from Groupon but only 8 of us could make it. It was relatively cheaper than playing at other places. We only paid RM41 per person compared to RM150+ at other places such as the one near Holiday Villa in Subang. It was indoor, therefore it was abit stuffy. Few minutes into play, our masks would fog up and we couldn't see a thing, which then leads to random firing. Mask, Vest, and Gun equipped with 200 pellets and 2000 psi compressed air all wet and sweaty after 4 rounds It is quite painful when the pellets hit your skin. It will only turn red on the spot, but anticipate for a blue black the next day. Was lucky i didn't get any headshots, but i made a few to my friends : D I also accidentally made a friendly fire headshot to Calvin, i wonder does it still hurt. the pellet i took home. Chinese New Year is the time of the year where we play firecrackers, receive angpaos, gamble, go visiting, reunion breakfast/lunch/dinner, eat cookies, tidbits, mandarin oranges, yee sang, NON STOP EATING! It is also the time of the year where people from overseas come back home to reunite with close ones, just like how my eldest brother comes back from UK to celebrate the Lunar New Year with us and relatives. Usually we would go back to my grandfather's place in Pahang to celebrate CNY. On CNY day's eve, we would have a big reunion dinner with the family and relatives. We would also prepare a table with offerings to welcome the God of Prosperity to enter the house, a ceremony commonly practiced by not only us but the whole kampung as well. Once the clock hits 12am, we would exchange greetings and angpaos. By the time you all are reading this, i would already be at Penang celebrating CNY with my family and relatives. With no internet access here for the next few days, i would be busy stuffing myself with lots of wonderful food, receive angpaos, play a bit of fireworks and probably prawn fishing : D HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR 2012! May the year of the Dragon bring everybody good health(most important), lots of wealth, prosperity, and may everything be smooth sailing ahead!

Funny how i'm using BM for my recent post titles... Went Ampang this morning with my dad as he met with a little accident the day before. He is totally fine and the car has a little scratch. The radiator was damaged in the accident, therefore rendering the car unable to be used. Headed down to a relatives' house at Ampang to borrow a car as we were planning to drive up to Penang for CNY. See the scratches First Mandarin Orange for the New Year   At the workshop, more like a Car Mortuary Two little accidents were involved. First he bumped a kancil and myvi at the traffic light. The myvi in front of the kancil had a little dent and my dad just paid the myvi for the damage as he was rushing to meet a customer. Second one happened at another traffic light, the lorry in front was slowly rolling down the slope and the driver forgotten to apply the brakes. Yes. Exams has ended. Therefore... I'm FREE~! Those long weeks of studying, countless cups of coffee, writing and remembering equations and definitions. Was almost unaware of what was happening around me, felt like a zombie, half alive, was blur most of the time. Being buried in tons of lecture notes and papers IS not fun. Studying IS tiring! Neglected my exercise routine as well just for the sake of exams. Remembered playing basketball last week, i only played like 3 matches and i was already panting. At one point, i was so tired i nearly fainted. Blood gushing up my head and eyes, i decided to stop playing and head back home. Glad all that is over.
