How Was College?
well... 1st day... jun hoong's mum sent me there... alot of people... man mountain man sea(ren shan ren hai~)
saw nicole, jasmine n lilian lining up... said hi n assumed that is the line for registration... so jun hoong n me jumped queue n lined up beside the girls... jun hoong asked are we sure THIS is the line... den beside us... there was this squarish thingy with a paper on it writing :"ORIENTATION! GCE A Levels blah blah blah... *arrow up*"
the line we were lining up were for CAT... so i went to register at the A level counter... got a file n were told to meet up here again at 9.30
saw a few old frens... said hi... den 10am went to the hall to listen to the bunch of lecturers n teachers give their welcome speech...
i remembered the person in charge of library one went like this... "ok i noe u all don't wanna be lectured on your first day.. so i am going to be showing u all a short clip..."
somehow... i preferred if she had given her speech... because the short clip promoting about the "top of the state" library was presented by a robot-like voice...
"welcome to Tun Datuk blah blah blah... we have many top class facilities readily available for the students need... BEEEp... BEEP...ZZZZZ"
BORING~
den we had a break from 11.30 to 2pm... yeah two and a half hour of free time...
went to cafeteria wif jun hoong... den met up wif the rest (wai hong, Shaun, Lilian, Jasmine, Nicole, Wen Jinn)
jun hoong decided that he'd take a tour around the campus alone...
after lunch we splitted again... met jun hoong... asked him wat he wants to do... he says dunno? where are the rest? oh they were at the library... so on the way to the library... jun hoong met one of his old schoolmates... he chatted with her so i had to go to the library alone... he said he would join us later
after hanging around wif them... came downstairs n saw jun hoong still chatting with the girl... fast huh... 1st day~ not bad...
not like me... did i make any friends as nicole asked me... "erm... well... err..."
i wasn't socialising... sigh... maybe later? still got plenty of time...
after lunch break... all of us split up... we had to go to our respective courses...
went inside AUDI 4... talked about A levels stuff...
den till the last part... this teacher... forgotten his name... Mr Jeffrey or something whom teaches Physics was promoting some kind of program called Love Is A MST (LIAMST) *forgotten wat the last three letters stand for*
specially for A level student... the program will have 60 students performing on stage...
singing old songs...(i mean really old song... 1800-1900~!!) singing n dancing...
so Mr Jeffrey sang us a few songs as well... he played the guitar really well while being accompanied by a pianist by the name of Allisa(i dunno how to spell her name)
songs like "words" by BeeGees, "La Bamba"(this song had a really nice beat... eventhough the songs in spanish?), "sway"(the older version... not the remake by Micheal Buble), "Paper Roses" by Marie Osborne, "stupid cupid"... all super old songs which i've never hear before... maybe one or two... gosh...
not to say that the teacher is old-fashioned but all this old songs really sounded nice n Mr Jeffrey is asking us to join his band of volunteering n self willing students to take part in the program n perform at July 2009
showed us clips of ex-students performing... saw nicole's bro dancing... damn cool~
other students were doing cha cha, disco, rock or watever old school dancing la...
woh got Freshies Night too... 22nd Jan... time for socialising?>.<
