Super long overdue post, my apologies. TPS Malaysia - Race 2 Kuching took place a month ago on the 3rd of September at Kuching, Sarawak. I have never been to Kuching, Sarawak - the east of Malaysia before and I saw that TPS was going to organise one there. That was one of the main reasons I signed up for this race series because I thought of going there for a "runcation" along with my friends. We all signed up together beginning of the year and was always looking forward to this trip. I mean besides that, if we signed up all 3 races we were given a complementary medal hanger #winwin On our first day after arriving, we were greeted by a magnificent sight. I heard from a friend this phenomenon is only present in east malaysia(correct me if i'm wrong) because I have never seen it back in semenanjung. A full rainbow! Last week, I took mum to attend Yiruma's concert at KLCC Plenary hall. The hall was packed. I saw many people, mostly couples, and it was a treat to my eyes, if only I could... Anyway the performance started at approximately 8.30pm, lasted all the way till 10pm. Can't remember how many pieces he played, but it was really enjoyable. Yiruma even did an impromptu play with the assistance of an audience (she used to be a freelance harpist). He asked her to play 3 notes, and from there he improvised and played a song on the spot. Such talent, much envy. The song was called "Green Something", just because. And Yiruma jokingly said he will be using that piece in his next album. Eversince I started playing Yiruma's two most famous pieces - Kiss The Rain and River Flows In You, at home on the piano, mum kept requesting me to play them and that wa...
