Xcite! Xperience! GO Xcel!!

what can i say about this camp (abit of amazing race inside as well)... AWESOME!
had fun WALKING so much...
had fun of limited sleeping...
had fun having limited food...

actually i really am grateful of all the experience i gained in this camp...
taking the bus and train... traveling around Malaysia (KL, Klang, Pulau Ketam, Malacca)
i never get to do these... seriously...
meeting and talking to many different people...
getting out of the comfort of my home...
experience LIFE first hand...
i'm living too comfortably in luxury...

oh anyway... pictures do the talking...

Day 1
around KL...

May Jean, Kit Yin, Jess, Mark, Gene, Soon Hong
our clue-givers : Jordan & Michael

initially we had 6 members in our team...
end of the day we had TRIBAL COUNCIL... so try figure who got voted out of our team... nicely speaking, who got INTO a new team...

1st clue was to get to KL Sentral...

cut short... we had many task and i felt the most difficult was to sell T-shirts to people in corporate outfit...
the moment we tried to attract their attention... they just ignored us or they just walk away saying No Thank You
I'm Busy
Sorry Buying Ticket la
sigh... life of a salesman... or maybe i'm bad at persuading...

then to Sungai Wang & Low Yat Plaza...

spent the most time in "river of wealth" because of those bloody riddles...
art fruit enterprise?? lemon?? walao...

then to KLCC and Pavilion...
WE ACTUALLY HUGGED one of the musicians just after they finished performing... =) (one of our tasks...)

Day 2
Klang, Pulau Ketam...

sat train there...

"please stand behind the yellow line..."

huhh??

in front of Muzium Something (sorry forgotten la...)

went orphanage (Good Samaritan Orphanage Home) to spend time with those kids...
pity them...
Chris & ??? (she couldn't spell her name out with scrabbles...)

things to buy...

may the caretakers be blessed with good karma even though i see the sadness in their faces... sigh

next... off to Pulau Ketam! (Crab Island?)

aiyak cannot see... actually it says on the board:
Bot Laju Berhawa Dingin...??

we were supposed to ask the people around what are the famous buildings, people or places in pulau ketam...
it's called the lonely planet six degrees challenge or something (which is on Travel & Living channel 707)

houses on stilts

remember slumdog millionaire?

now u know where salted fish comes from...

at first we played around and made up most of the stories (hehe) and we screwed by Bro Chee Onn...
so we started putting more effort the second time and also knowing that the last boat back to Port Klang was at 6pm motivated us...

yay complete!

overnight-ed at a buddihst centre in Klang...
practiced our Flash Dance around 12am!

Day 3
Malacca

2 hour bus journey...
reached and went to our 1st clue which was the clocktower...

soon hong, may jean, mark, jess & me

had to search for the HQ where the game really begins...
monopoly style...

man am i tired...

roll the dice... land on a spot... buy or no buy... finish the task...
tiring plus the hot weather... and oh yeah temptation to buy Chicken Rice Ball which sadly to say i have not tried... we could only afford for the plain rice balls... :'(
oh yeah didn't mention that we were given a specific amount of money at the beginning of the race...

our mascot... patamon?

Give Hope Save Lives campaign was going on...
where we performed our flash dance...

>VIDEO HERE<

Day 4
Still Malacca...

last day was abit relaxed...
still had to carry on with our task of taking pictures describing ur team and urselves...
random pictures...
