Masak Masak

Me and my housemates have been cooking our own meals whenever we can. Most of the time we prepare dinner rather than lunch since most of us will be at home in the evening or night.

Until today, i think we have cooked at least 6 times(or more).

So here are the pictures of the meals we prepared.

Green Thai Curry(cooked by my mum, reheated only, extremely nice but extremely spicy!), Egg with tomato, Nuggets, Sardine fish with onions, Aubergine with shredded meat

Left some food for Jared(housemate/coursemate) since he came home late, note the love and compassion we give him, money can't buy

My first attempt in cooking fried rice, FAIL...

Leftover food from the Steamboat Session we had, made some simple dish with it.

Luncheon Meat, Baked Beans, Catfish(canned) and egg

attempted to cook potato pieces with sauce but ended became mashed potato as the potato was boiled too long

tau fu with oyster mushroom and chicken slices, not a fan of mushroom

soup, stir-fried longbeans, fried oyster mushroom(everything tastes nice when fried), and AWESOME Siew Yok from hometown

Pasta with cheese + herbs sauce, added sausages and chicken slices.

Notice how almost every dish involves EGGS. Eggs... who doesn't love eggs... I Like Eggs~(quote: Debbie from "The Amanda Show", used to watch this on Nickelodeon)

I finally feel how my mum feels(SHE IS THE BEST COOK!) when she comes up with different dishes to satisfy our appetite. She would prepare different dishes everyday, sometimes spending half the day in the kitchen preparing the meals. For us, before we cook we would ask each other:"What do we want to have today"; "who is going to cook today"; "do we have enough ingredients..." and so on.

No doubt cooking is fun. It is fun experimenting with different ingredients, will learn to cook more elaborate dishes in the future and will definitely post them here.
